Use case

A faceless YouTube video maker that uses real footage

A faceless channel lives or dies on the edit: the right picture under every line, cut to the voice, for ten minutes at a time, every week. MotionKnit does that edit for you from a script and a voiceover.

Why the footage matters

Viewers recognise generated video, and so do the platforms. MotionKnit never generates footage: it searches real libraries for every beat, watches the candidates and keeps the clip that shows what the line says. A documentary about deep-sea octopuses gets octopuses, not a picture of the sea.

What you provide

A script and a voiceover — your own recording, or one from any text-to-speech tool. MotionKnit is the editor, not the writer: it does not write the script or read it for you, which means the channel’s voice stays yours.

Formats it is tuned for

Documentary (archive-heavy, slower pacing), explainer (design cards carrying the numbers the voiceover says), top-ten countdowns (each item with its own footage) and stills-and-captions. Long videos for YouTube in 16:9, Shorts in 9:16.

Yours to publish

You own the videos you make and you are free to publish and monetise them. Every shot is recorded with its source, so you always know where a clip came from.
